From there, he never had to look back and eventually became the first Indian YouTube content creator to reach 20 million subscribers. Amit Bhadana: The Popular Youtuber

Amit Bhadana was born in a conservative middle-class family in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, on the 7th of September, 1994. His family later shifted to Johri Pur, Delhi, where he spent his childhood. He did his schooling at Lovely Buds Public School at Jaipur in New Delhi and graduated in Law from the University of Delhi. 

Amit Bhadana had comedy in him since his early days. He often used to crack jokes in the classroom when he was in school. When his first-year exams in college were over, he posted a dubbed video on his Facebook account which received a lot of likes and comments. Then he decided to open a Facebook page and post dubbed comedy videos there. Although he never really planned to be in front of the camera for a career, that is where his life gradually brought him. 

 

Start of his YouTube journey 

Amit’s parents initially did not favor him creating content on YouTube. They wanted him to pursue a career in law but the encouragement that he had received from his Facebook videos, motivated him to start his YouTube Channel. Although he created his channel in 2012 he started posting full-time videos in 2017. 

 

When he started, his biggest task was to convince his parents, who wanted him to be a lawyer or a judge. He mentions being scared to tell them he wanted to try YouTube. So, he continued to post content on YouTube secretly and his parents came to know about it quite later on when he had already started becoming popular on YouTube.

 

Since the beginning, he has always tried to post content that the viewers can relate to their own life too. Some examples of his video titles – “Exam be Like, Boards Preparation be like”, “Types of people in a bus”, and “School ke wo din”, etc. clearly depict that the audience finds his videos relatable. He has also used a unique way of presenting rhyming sentences in his dialogues maintaining his Haryanvi dialect, which differentiates him from other content creators.

 

Present success and Ongoing Ventures 

 

Amit Bhadana presently has over 24 million subscribers on his YouTube Channel. If we surf through his channel, we can see that almost all his videos have over 20 million views Many videos have crossed the 50 million mark. As stated earlier, he was the first Indian YouTube content creator to cross 20 million subscribers on YouTube. 

 

Apart from comedy, he has also made a dubbed song by Eminem and a reply to the song ‘Hello’ by Adele, which became quite popular as parody songs. He has also released an original song named “Parichay” composed with Ikka, which is also the most viewed video on his channel, currently clocking at 93 million. He also collaborated with Badshah to release another track called ‘Aatmvishwas’. By doing this he has diversified his content and has successfully reached a wider audience. 

 

He also always wanted to collaborate with the stars of Bollywood, which he did by making videos with Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, and Ajay Devgan as well. Amit Bhadana also received the “Dada Saheb Phalke” award for being India’s best YouTube content creator. Though his friends shot and edited his videos at the beginning of his career, he now has a dedicated team and professional arrangement. All this has only been possible because of his hard work and dedication.

 

Plans for the future

 

Amit Bhadana dreams of exploring various types of content. He does not want to confine within a specific niche and loves to experiment with new topics. He has already diversified his content a lot, but he wants more. Apart from his ongoing and upcoming music tracks, he has also created small series like “LLB” on his YouTube channel. Apart from this, Bollywood stars collaborate with him for promoting their movies and he expects such partnerships in future too. A few months ago, he made a video called “The Perfect Date” with popular actress Katrina Kaif. 

Another thing that he is currently doing and will keep doing is making short films and movies. He has made quite a few movies now. He directs his movies, acts in them, and uploads them on his YouTube channel. His works, “Paggal,” “Chidiya Ghar,” “Mera Junior” and “Bahut Scope Hai” has earned a lot of attention from the audience. “Paggal” fetched an IMDB rating of 8.6 and “Chidiya Ghar” 9.1. Needless to say, these were some of his most remarkable achievements. His series “LLB” was featured in the popular OTT platform Hotstar, which gained much popularity.
